The Journey
So, to cut a long story short, the packing has been a very traumatic experience, with lots of swearing and running around the house looking for stuff.
But now, we’re on the way, with only one detour back to Julie’s to collect some forgotten items 😃.
After 6 hours in 2 cars, we’ve finally arrived. After a quick check in at the b&b, we set off on the first leg of the walk.
First stop, the actual starting point, next to the beach and we each chose a pebble, dipped it into the sea, and will carry them with us to the end.
We’re walking 8.5 miles today, to get the headland walk over and done with and shortens the walking tomorrow!!!
It was quite an easy walk today, with lovely views and now we’re sitting drinking wine and beer in the sun.
